Welcome to the beautiful Eastern Sierras, home of Danbar Australian Cattledogs. We’ve been living with cattledogs for about 10 years now.
We selectively breed cattledogs as a hobby to incorporate champions with beauty and great temperament and great willingness to please. Pedigrees consist of outstanding sires and dams.
We have conderable knowledge and experience with these wonderful dogs We are a home more than just a “kennel” of some of the finest lines whose quality has been proven. Our cattledogs are kind of free roaming (indoor and outdoor ) and are family members as well. We breed sparingly and very selectively. Our main objective is to enhance and uphold the breed standard. Our dams are free whelpers with both parents having all health clearances. From birth, pups are socialized with other dogs,family,and friends. Litters are whelped in our home.
Each new pup is introduced to the crate, been on at least five different surfaces, has begun or is totally paper trained, and given individualized attention at least 2-3 times daily. By the time the pups are ready to go to their new homes,each has been examined for general health and to rule out anomalies, received first shots and wormings, weaned, bathed, groomed, critiqued and graded. Above all they are all much Loved. We place puppies in homes who are willing to take the full responsibility in caring for an Australian Cattledog as if it were another family member.
